I don’t write a lot about myself here, but only about the things I’ve observed and learnt. Today, I’m going to digress a bit, though.
One of my favourite feelings in the world is when folks from teams I’ve worked at, tell me they miss me.
It certainly means a lot to me – obviously, hearing this makes me feel good. Many times, I miss working in those teams as much as they miss me.
But I never go back because I left for a reason that’s different from dynamics within my own team. The reason is probably so fundamental to the organization that it’s not going to change ever.
